Dance Studio Policies

A Complete Policy & Guideline Handbook will be available at time of registration.

A non-refundable fee of $35.00 per student is required annually at time of registration. This reserves your space in class.

Tuition is a yearly fee that has been broken down into 10 installments. Tuition is due the first class of every month, regardless if your child was in class or not. As a courtesy to our clients, a grace period is extended through the 10th day of the month.

At Pizzazz Dance Center there are no hidden costs. You are responsible for paying your tuition and registration fee. You are also responsible for purchasing the proper class attire, recital costume(s) and tights, correct shoes and recital tickets. All payments to Pizzazz Dance Center are non-refundable.

Students are expected and encouraged to attend class on a regular basis. Missed classes affect personal progress as well as class progress. Students may not miss more than six classes from January to June, if they wish to participate in the dance recital. Please show consideration to your instructor and arrive on time.

Throughout the year, parents or guardians are invited to watch their children dance on the closed circuit monitor in the waiting room.

It is the responsibility of the parent or guardian to be made aware of dance activities, such as, dates the school will be opened and closed, rehearsals and special activities. The center will post all such notices on the bulletin board and all notices will be written in the newsletter, which is sent home monthly with all students.

Students should be prepared for class with appropriate dancewear and shoes. Failure to wear the required dancewear could result in the student being asked to sit out of class. Students must adhere to the dress code so that they can move freely and so that the instructor can see the body alignment and make corrections. At times instructors will make hands-on corrections.

More information regarding the dress code will be available at registration.

Please be prompt in picking up your children. Tell your child to remain in the lobby and not outside. We are not responsible for children once they leave the dance room.

This is a summarized version of the policy and guideline handbook. The complete policy and guideline handbook will be available when you register.
